General Rules
- Each entry unlocks 3 separate sweepstakes.
- $20 entry fee covers all competitions.
- Every entrant is randomly assigned 2 World Cup nations. Together, those two nations form your tournament ticket.
- One nation is drawn from Pot A (top 24 FIFA-ranked teams), the other from Pot B (bottom 24).
- Nations are non-exclusive. The same nation may be drawn by multiple entrants, and there is no limit on total entries.
- While you may share a nation with another entrant, you will rarely share the exact same two-nation combination.
The three sweepstakes
- Points Sweep. Your two nations earn points every match through wins, draws, clean sheets and knockout advancement. The highest-scoring tournament ticket at the end of the World Cup wins.
- Survival Sweep. Stay alive as long as one of your two nations remains in the tournament. The last nation standing takes the pool.
- Side Pools. Five additional $1 mini-pools running throughout the tournament. These are awarded to nations rather than tournament tickets.
Prize Pool
Every $20 entry feeds the pool. The breakdown below updates automatically as new players register.
Total Players Registered: 59
Total Prize Pool: $1180
| Sweep | From each entry | Current pool |
|---|---|---|
| Points Sweep | $10 | $590 |
| Survival Sweep | $5 | $295 |
| Side Pools (5 × $1) | $5 | $295 |
Payouts
- Points Sweep. Top three tournament tickets split the pool.
- 1st: 50% ($295)
- 2nd: 30% ($177)
- 3rd: 20% ($118)
- Survival Sweep. The pool ($295) goes to the nation that survives the longest in the tournament.
- If that nation has multiple owners, the pool is shared equally between them.
- Side Pools. Five separate pools worth $1 per entry, $59 each.
- Each Side Pool is awarded to a winning nation.
- If a winning nation has multiple owners, that Side Pool is shared equally between them.
Points Sweep
- Your two nations earn points every time they play. Wins, draws and clean sheets all add up. Most points at the end of the tournament wins.
How points are awarded
| Result | Pot A nation | Pot B nation |
|---|---|---|
| Win | 3 pts | 4 pts |
| Draw | 1 pt | 1 pt |
| Clean sheet | +1 pt | +1 pt |
| Knockout bonuses | ||
| Each knockout match won | +1 pt | +1 pt |
| Wins the World Cup | +3 pts | +3 pts |
- Clean sheets are decided at the end of regulation (90 minutes plus stoppage time). Goals in extra time or penalty shootouts don’t cancel the clean-sheet bonus.
- A knockout match decided by a penalty shootout counts as a draw for both nations. The nation that advances still earns the +1 knockout bonus.
Side Pools
Five additional $1 mini-pools running alongside the main sweeps.
